Description

Own the room. Command the message. Architect the experience.

This is not a “logistics” job. It’s a high-trust, public-facing role where you design and lead the events that move high-net-worth families—families making million-dollar decisions about their child’s future—to choose Alpha. If you don’t believe every child is capable of more, that acceleration is the point, and that high expectations are how you honor potential, this isn’t your gig.

Alpha is not a “better private school.” We are a fundamentally different model — compressing a full school day into two hours using adaptive learning, expert guides, and hands-on challenges. The result: accelerated mastery, space for real-world learning, and outcomes that open elite academic and career doors. We are opening 25 new campuses throughout the US over the next year, and you'll lead the event strategy for the entire network.

Our families expect more than academic rigor. They expect outcomes that lead to lifelong success. Your events must make that case, combining operational excellence with the confidence and conviction to speak directly to parents who want nothing less than the best.

You will be the final authority on event strategy, quality, and brand alignment. You set the bar, own the results, and are accountable for the impact. That means crafting experiences that resonate with HNW families without anyone spoon-feeding you audience insights or scripts. If you can pair event leadership with authentic advocacy, this is your seat.

What you will be doing

  • Designing and executing a high-impact events strategy that drives enrollment among Alpha’s target audience: high-net-worth families seeking elite academic outcomes.
  • Creating reusable playbooks for core events—TEDx-style student showcases, high-stakes info sessions, Shadow Days—that make the Alpha model tangible and compelling.
  • Managing vendor sourcing, contracting, payments, and performance across multiple campuses.
  • Overseeing 5–10 concurrent events, leading on-site problem-solving and cross-functional coordination.
  • Representing Alpha in high-visibility settings—from MCing to engaging families one-on-one—with the credibility and presence to evangelize our mission.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing someone else’s system or waiting for step-by-step instructions.
  • Running safe, cookie-cutter events that could belong to any school.
  • Outsourcing the Alpha message to agencies or scripted MCs.
  • Avoiding bold, polarizing conversations about rigor, acceleration, and results.

Key responsibilities

Deliver a scalable, high-impact events function that converts the right families into Alpha advocates by showcasing our model’s rigor, speed, and outcomes with authority and authenticity.

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years of substantial, end-to-end event execution in dedicated event-focused roles with budgets from $5K to $50K.
  • Proven ability to independently identify and act on the motivations, expectations, and social dynamics of high-net-worth families—without step-by-step direction.
  • Ability to credibly represent Alpha’s model and value proposition to sophisticated audiences, pairing operational excellence with persuasive storytelling.
  • Stage presence, poise, and skill in engaging both large groups and one-on-one conversations.
  • Strong vendor negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Located in the US and willing to travel up to 75%.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background in education, nonprofit, or startup events.
  • Budget management experience, including cost control and procurement.
  • Experience scaling event operations across multiple markets.
