What you will be doing

  • Designing and continuously refining an AI-driven learning ecosystem that significantly surpasses traditional education, evidenced by measurable student achievement gains.
  • Interacting directly with students via virtual platforms to gain insights into their learning experiences, challenges, and triumphs, using this feedback to enhance the learning ecosystem.
  • Extracting actionable insights from learning platform data to design impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices.
  • Fostering a culture of bold experimentation and data-driven decision-making to unlock transformative growth in students' learning trajectories.
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to translate academic insights and student feedback into seamless product improvements.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply wrapping traditional education in an AI layer. This is about reimagining learning from the ground up, not replicating classroom instruction on screens.
  • Analyzing data in isolation. Regular engagement with K-12 students is essential, valuing their feedback as crucial input from our customers.
  • Waiting for consensus to push boundaries. You'll lead with a bold vision and rally others around data-driven outcomes.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll have the freedom to experiment with innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Viewing AI as a threat to education. Here, you'll embrace AI as an exciting tool to revolutionize learning.

Key responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-powered, teacher-less education to achieve outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Combine data analytics with regular student engagement to continually optimize our learning ecosystem, as demonstrated by AP exam performance and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech.
  • Proven experience in applying AI technologies in educational or professional settings.
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning.
  • Strong understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational approaches.
  • Ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
