Description

Are you looking for a leadership role in the software industry? Do you believe managers should do the work, not just manage it? Are you willing to roll up your sleeves and both learn and do new things every day?

If you have leadership experience in software and are ready to help rebuild a company, we’ve got a role for you!

Trilogy has over 100 software companies in our portfolio, and we are constantly acquiring more. We rebuild acquired companies and operate them using our shared services model to handle back-office operations, engineering, and customer support. We embrace a radical, remote, repeatable way of working that allows us to focus on productivity, not management.

Our executive leaders are customer-facing, passionate evangelists. They take ownership of an acquisition, craft a new vision for the next decade, revamp the product offerings to deliver value to customers, and reset customer relationships. Successful leaders dive deep into every domain of the company and don’t just manage processes from a distance like they do in most companies.

If you have a strong point of view on the market and how customers can achieve more value from software, apply today!

What you will be doing

  • Developing a compelling vision to transform customer experiences with newly acquired companies
  • Taking a bloated product offering and refocusing it on the core value the product provides to customers
  • Revitalizing customer relationships, level-setting on current realities, and exciting them about the future vision

What you will NOT be doing

  • Focusing inward, without taking the customer or product/market fit into account
  • Delegating deep domain learning to a partner or junior staff member
  • Staying out of the spotlight; instead, you will become an industry expert, leading the conversation

Key responsibilities

  • Setting the strategic vision and charting a path forward for a newly acquired software company

Candidate requirements

  • Prior work experience as a CEO or founder of a software company
  • At least 5 years of digital marketing & communications experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject (engineering, math, science, economics, etc.)
