Description

Do you enjoy working with a wide variety of customers and industries and a broad portfolio of proven products?  This role could be a fit for you.  In this role, you will be part of a global team that covers 1000's of customers across multiple industries. You will work to align customers to a long-term vision for their success and you will have dozens of proven software products at your disposal to craft winning strategies for existing and new customers.

What you will be doing

  • Crafting long-term account strategies for customers
  • Interacting with customers on a daily basis to understand their business needs and dynamics and how our products and services can create long-term value
  • Working with our entire product portfolio to understand how to deepen product penetration for existing customers
  • Various types of customer communication (Video, email, face-to-face when appropriate).
  • Leveraging Playbook guidelines and artifacts to ensure success

What you will NOT be doing

  • Conducting ad-hoc interactions with customers in an attempt to close a deal quickly without truly understanding the business needs of the customer and how our products can alleviate their pain-points.
  • Working feverishly to hit a short-term quarterly sales target

Key responsibilities

  • Understand the customers’ business strategy and industry direction and manage a long term, sustainable portfolio
  • Foster strategic customer relationships and build confidence with the customers as a trusted partner
  • Lead business review meetings to excite customer executives on our vision and plan for their success
  • Help customers solve business challenges by aligning our value proposition with their business objectives

Candidate requirements

  • 3+ years in account management or client partnership roles for software products
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, and able to work successfully in a 100% virtual environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Nice to have

  • Experience with transitioning customers from on-premise to SaaS/cloud software solutions
