As the driving force, coach, and strategist for our Guides – our primary learning facilitators – your leadership will define how they connect with students, from crafting playbooks to providing feedback and demonstrating exceptional facilitation skills.

What you will be doing

  • Leading and nurturing a team of Guides to execute the Alpha learning system with utmost excellence
  • Crafting Guide Playbooks that outline best practices for facilitation, design engaging learning activities, and address challenges
  • Delivering regular, actionable feedback to Guides to boost student engagement and success
  • Personally mentoring a select group of students, showcasing expert coaching and motivational techniques

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans – your Guides guide students' learning through adaptive apps; your focus is on training them to be exceptional facilitators
  • Compromising on standards – if our passing grade is 100%, it's your responsibility to maintain that level
  • Conducting dull training – you'll lead Guides through lively, dynamic, and hands-on development

Key responsibilities

Lead and nurture a team of Guides to execute the Alpha system with world-class excellence.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a similar field.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with a knack for building, managing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Experience working with youth (ages 5-18) in an educational or developmental setting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and leveraging metrics for decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Austin, Texas. Relocation assistance is available.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
