What you will be doing

  • Designing and continuously improving an AI-driven learning ecosystem that surpasses traditional education, evidenced by significant student achievement gains
  • Interacting with students via virtual platforms to gain insights into their learning experiences, challenges, and successes, using this information to enhance the learning ecosystem
  • Analyzing data from our platform to uncover actionable insights and design impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices
  • Fostering a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making to drive significant growth in student achievements
  • Collaborating with engineering, data science, and design teams to turn academic insights and student feedback into seamless product improvements

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply wrapping traditional education in an AI package. This role is about reimagining learning from scratch.
  • Analyzing data in isolation. Regular student engagement is crucial, as their feedback is vital to our mission.
  • Waiting for consensus to innovate. You'll drive a bold vision backed by data-driven outcomes.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll have the freedom to explore innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Viewing AI as a threat to education. Here, you'll leverage AI as a tool to revolutionize learning.

Key responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-driven, teacher-less education to achieve outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Combine data analytics with regular student interaction to continually optimize our learning ecosystem, evidenced by AP exam performance and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech
  • Experience applying AI technologies in educational or professional settings
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI systems for tasks like content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Strong grasp of learning science principles and data-driven educational methods
  • Proven ability to convey complex educational and technical concepts to diverse groups
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
