What you will be doing

  • Designing and continuously improving an AI-driven learning ecosystem that significantly outperforms traditional education, with measurable improvements in student achievement data.
  • Interacting directly with students via virtual platforms to gain insights into their learning experiences, challenges, and successes, using these insights to refine the learning ecosystem.
  • Extracting actionable insights from learning platform data to design impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices.
  • Fostering a culture of bold experimentation and data-driven decision-making to unlock significant improvements in students' growth trajectories.
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to translate academic insights and student feedback into seamless product improvements.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply rebranding traditional education with an AI label. This role is about reimagining learning from the ground up, not replicating classroom instruction on screens.
  • Analyzing data in a vacuum. Regular engagement with K-12 students is essential, valuing their feedback as crucial input from our paying customers.
  • Waiting for consensus to push boundaries. You'll advocate for a bold vision and rally others around data-driven results.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll have the freedom to explore innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Viewing AI's impact on education as a threat. Here, you'll use AI as an exciting tool to revolutionize learning.

Key responsibilities

Innovate in AI-powered, teacher-less education to achieve outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Combine data analytics with regular student engagement to continuously optimize our learning ecosystem, as reflected in AP exam performance and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech.
  • Experience applying AI technologies in an educational or professional setting.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI systems for tasks such as content creation, data analysis, or adaptive learning.
  • Strong understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational methods.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
