Learning and Development Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Revolutionize Education Through AI - Be the Architect of Tomorrow's Learning

Picture yourself at the helm of an educational revolution where artificial intelligence meets human potential. At 2 Hour Learning, we're not just another EdTech company – we're pioneering a future where traditional classroom constraints dissolve, and student achievement soars beyond conventional limits.

Our track record speaks volumes: our students consistently ace AP exams with top scores and demonstrate exceptional growth on MAP assessments. This isn't just progress; it's a paradigm shift in education.

As our Learning and Development Manager, you'll orchestrate an AI-powered educational symphony across multiple campuses, crafting personalized learning journeys that transform how students engage with knowledge. You'll be the bridge between cutting-edge technology and breakthrough student outcomes, working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, learning science, and student success.

What you will be doing

Your mission will encompass:

  • Spearheading the development of a revolutionary AI learning ecosystem that consistently delivers measurable student success
  • Conducting virtual student engagement sessions to gather crucial insights and shape the evolution of our platform
  • Leveraging advanced analytics to decode learning patterns and implement AI-driven educational interventions
  • Leading data-informed experiments that push the boundaries of traditional education
  • Collaborating with our tech teams to transform student feedback into powerful platform features

What you will NOT be doing

Let's be clear about what this role isn't:

  • Digitizing traditional classroom methods - we're creating something entirely new
  • Running numbers in a vacuum - you'll be actively engaged with our K-12 student community
  • Playing it safe - we need a bold visionary who follows the data, not the crowd
  • Following educational orthodoxy - innovation and experimentation are our north stars
  • Viewing AI with skepticism - you'll embrace it as the catalyst for educational transformation

Key responsibilities

Your core mission is to pioneer teacher-less, AI-driven education that delivers exceptional results across our network of campuses. Success means combining razor-sharp data analytics with meaningful student interactions to continuously evolve our learning ecosystem, with success measured through concrete metrics like AP exam scores and MAP assessment growth rates.

Candidate requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or related discipline
  • Proven educational or EdTech leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in implementing AI solutions in educational contexts
  • Hands-on experience with AI systems for educational applications
  • Deep understanding of learning science and data-driven educational methodologies
  • Excellence in translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
  • Track record of successful cross-functional team leadership
