Revolutionize Education with AI: Seeking a Visionary Product Leader and Builder

At 2 Hour Learning, we're not just improving education—we're redefining it. Our AI-powered academic ecosystem is shattering learning barriers, and we need a trailblazer to take us further. This isn't a role for the faint-hearted; it's a call to arms for a product virtuoso who can transform education through cutting-edge technology and unwavering user empathy.

As our Senior Director of Product Management, you'll be the architect of our AI-driven learning revolution. You'll prototype with generative AI, automate workflows with Python, and dive deep into user experiences to craft solutions that feel like magic. This is your chance to leave an indelible mark on the future of learning.

What you will be doing

  • Forge deep connections with students and staff, uncovering critical pain points and opportunities that others miss.
  • Harness the power of generative AI tools to rapidly prototype, validate, and refine groundbreaking product ideas.
  • Shepherd products from concept to launch, ensuring they deliver measurable improvements in student success and satisfaction.
  • Lead and inspire development teams to execute a visionary roadmap while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
  • Stay at the bleeding edge of learning science and AI advancements, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible in education.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delegating from the sidelines. This role demands a hands-on leader who's not afraid to get their hands dirty.
  • Settling for minor tweaks or incremental improvements. We're in the business of educational breakthroughs.
  • Navigating bureaucratic red tape. Our agile environment values action and results over rigid hierarchies.
  • Relying solely on traditional market research. Your insights will come from direct user engagement and real-world testing.
  • Maintaining the status quo. If you're not pushing boundaries and challenging assumptions, you're not doing your job.

Key responsibilities

Drive the creation and delivery of AI-powered educational products that revolutionize student engagement, dramatically improve learning outcomes, and set new standards for user delight in the education technology sector.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven track record of shipping innovative, user-centric products that have achieved exceptional measurable results in user adoption, satisfaction, or key business metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage Python with AI-assisted tools for rapid prototyping and problem-solving. While direct coding experience is a plus, a strong aptitude for quickly learning and applying technical tools is essential.
  • Expertise in utilizing generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Cursor, Devin) for ideation, prototyping, and workflow automation, with a portfolio of successful applications.
  • Mastery in gathering actionable user insights through direct interviews, observation, and other hands-on research methods, translating raw feedback into game-changing product enhancements.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify meaningful trends, and translate insights into product decisions that drive significant, measurable improvements.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and inspiring development teams to execute on ambitious product visions while maintaining unwavering quality standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a track record of providing crystal-clear, actionable feedback and maintaining alignment across diverse stakeholders through precise and compelling written and verbal communication.
