Head of School   $400,000 USD/year

Description

Were you that kid who finished the entire math textbook in September? Or are you raising one now, watching them slowly die of boredom in a system designed for the middle? We believe gifted students don't need 12 years to master K-12 academics. They need fierce advocates who understand that holding them back isn't "protecting their childhood" - it's crushing their spirit.

We're looking for entrepreneurs who've successfully built and scaled something from nothing, AND can articulate a vision so compelling that skeptics become believers. If you're just an educator with great test scores, this isn't for you. If you're just a successful founder without deep understanding of gifted students, this isn't for you either.

We need someone who viscerally understands that gifted education isn't about giving smart kids more worksheets or pushing them into STEM. It's about fostering independence, embracing healthy competition, and building the habits that turn raw intellectual horsepower into real-world impact. Someone who can design these experiences, prove they work, and then convince parents across America that challenging their gifted children academically isn't just okay - it's essential.

What you will be doing

  • Design learning experiences that finally let gifted students run full speed ahead
  • Build and scale programs that develop both intellectual and leadership potential
  • Lead the public conversation about why traditional "gifted" programs are failing
  • Convert skeptical parents into advocates by showing them what's really possible
  • Use AI to prove and scale our approach nationally

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing day-to-day academic operations or curriculum – our 2 Hour Learning model handles core academics
  • Catering to parents who think AP classes in 11th grade are "accelerated"
  • Running feel-good programs that prioritize inclusion over challenge
  • Making incremental improvements to a broken system

Key responsibilities

Transform specialty education in America by building and scaling an innovative school model that combines our proven 2 Hour Learning approach with specialized programming for specific student populations.

Candidate requirements

  • You've scaled a venture from concept to significant growth
  • You have an established audience who trusts your voice
  • You deeply understand gifted students through personal or professional experience
  • You're already using AI to multiply your own productivity
  • You can articulate complex ideas in ways that move people to action
  • You're US-based and willing to travel for key events
  • You're eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
