Director of Strategic Private School Partnerships   $150,000 USD/year

Description

You’re not here to play small. You’re here to shift the status quo — to bring the future of education to the nation’s most influential private schools. At 2 Hour Learning, we’ve reimagined what school can be: a mastery-based, AI-powered model where students learn 2x faster in just 2 hours a day. Now, we need a strategic operator and trusted voice to take that story to the most elite institutions in the country.

This isn’t a volume game. This is about precision, influence, and alignment. You’ll own outreach and relationship development with the top 100 private schools in the U.S., building long-term partnerships with Heads of School, board members, and senior academic leaders. These are high-trust, high-stakes conversations — where credibility, insight, and inspiration matter more than decks or demos.

If you thrive on opening impossible doors, making bold ideas land in conservative spaces, and transforming entire systems from the inside out — you’ll love what we’re building. You’ll have a category-defining product, unprecedented student outcomes, and the license to run your own strategic playbook.

This is your chance to change the future of elite education in America. Let’s make it happen.

What you will be doing

  • Building trusted, long-term relationships with senior leaders at the top 100 U.S. private schools
  • Leading high-stakes conversations and presentations at conferences, events, and 1:1 meetings to drive alignment and interest
  • Developing and executing a strategic outreach plan — from cold introduction to signed partnership
  • Becoming a deeply knowledgeable evangelist of 2 Hour Learning’s platform, pedagogy, and performance data
  • Working cross-functionally with internal teams to tailor messaging, demos, and materials for the private school audience

What you will NOT be doing

  • Chasing high-volume, low-influence prospects — this is about quality, not quantity
  • Relying on a big SDR team or inbound leads — you’ll be the tip of the spear
  • Managing a sales team — this is a hands-on individual contributor role
  • Selling an undifferentiated product in a crowded space — you’ll have something genuinely transformational
  • Following a rigid playbook — you’ll be empowered to create and refine your own strategy

Key responsibilities

Drive adoption of the 2 Hour Learning model in the nation’s most prestigious private schools by securing strategic, high-impact partnerships that accelerate brand credibility, influence, and student outcomes at scale.

Candidate requirements

  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or sales with high-level stakeholders in US education or adjacent sectors
  • Proven ability to build and close high-trust relationships with C-suite or Board-level decision-makers

  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills, including public speaking at conferences
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment
  • Currently located in the US with valid work authorization
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% for in-person meetings and events

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into the private K-12 education market
  • Prior work with high-end EdTech or mission-driven education initiatives
  • Networked within NAIS, SAIS, or other private school associations
