By 9th grade, your sense of wonder is gone. Tech pioneer Ravi Krishnappa chats to Andrew this week about the role of the curiosity quotient in building an extraordinary remote career in India.

Hey, Welcome Back!

How high is your CQ?

There are many different types of intelligence that impact how far you will go in your career. For the most part, society focuses on your intelligence quotient (IQ) and your emotional quotient (EQ).

These benchmarks make it easier to understand our capacity for reasoning and connecting with others.

But today’s guest asks you to ditch what you think you know about intelligence.

💥 Ravi Krishnappa believes curiosity crushes them all.💥

Instead of fixating on the right answers, a curious mind knows that asking the right questions will get you further ahead, faster.

😺 These days it’s apathy that kills the cat, not curiosity.

Society once rewarded people who kept their heads down, did their jobs, and didn’t ask too many questions. RIP boomer cats, you didn’t stand a chance.

The opposite is true today!

🧠 Curious people aren’t just actively more knowledgeable – constant learning sharpens their ability to spot opportunity when it arises.

It keeps them on high alert for ongoing growth. Remote workers who need superhuman internal motivation thrive when they’re naturally curious.

And it’s Ravi’s secret to a 30-year long career as one of India’s leading tech pioneers.

Ravi is the Co-founder of July Ventures, and a highly successful Angel Investor that has helped make India’s Silicon Valley what it is today. After launching dozens of startups and single-handedly running Oracles consulting division for many years – he attributes it all to CQ.

Retaining that sense of wonder is the defining trait that makes or breaks a career.

So, this week I’m back in India to connect with a remote business legend who has made entrepreneurial curiosity the linchpin of his success story.

And he’s here to help you kick off your own.

🚀 Join Ravi and I as we discuss the critical role of the curiosity-quotient (CQ) in driving remote success in the ever-changing global tech landscape.

The cat’s out of the bag – and it’s curious! 🐈
