AWS Architect   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you the AWS wizard who turns chaotic infrastructure into a symphony of efficiency? We're not looking for a caretaker—we need an architect who can wrangle multiple tech stacks, streamline databases, and automate away half their job. If you thrive on transforming messy legacy systems into a sleek, scalable AWS ecosystem, keep reading. This isn't your average DevOps role; it's a high-stakes adventure in infrastructure optimization.

What you will be doing

  • Orchestrate complex AWS migrations, transforming legacy systems into cutting-edge cloud infrastructure with near-zero downtime
  • Design and implement robust monitoring systems and AI-driven automations that make incidents a rarity
  • Take charge of system monitoring, backups, incident response, database migrations, and relentless cost optimization across our diverse product portfolio

What you will NOT be doing

  • Drowning in Jira tickets and status meetings—we need doers, not just trackers
  • Maintaining outdated systems indefinitely—you'll drive meaningful improvements
  • Waiting for approvals—you'll have the authority to execute critical fixes immediately
  • Getting pigeonholed into narrow technical silos—this role demands both depth and breadth
  • Begging for budget—we understand that top-tier infrastructure is an investment, not an expense

Key responsibilities

Drive reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our expanding product portfolio by implementing state-of-the-art monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.

Candidate requirements

  • Proven mastery of AWS infrastructure (this is non-negotiable—we're all-in on AWS)
  • Advanced programming skills in Python or JavaScript for crafting sophisticated automation and tooling
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and migrating production databases across multiple engines (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
  • Proven track record of implementing comprehensive, proactive monitoring solutions
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
  • Expert-level Linux systems administration skills
