AI-First Senior QA Engineer $100,000USD/year ($50 USD/hour)

Description

The software industry is bogged down by slow release cycles and error-prone products, largely due to outdated testing methods. Traditional QA practices, even with basic automation, fail to catch critical issues early enough, leading to costly delays and frustrated users. According to industry reports, over 60% of software bugs are discovered post-release, and quality defects cost the software industry over $2 trillion per year in total. The demand for faster, more reliable software calls for a radical rethinking of how quality assurance is approached.

At IgniteTech, we are leading this revolution by integrating GenAI tools into every layer of the QA process. By harnessing the power of AI to simulate user behaviors, generate complex test cases, and analyze defect trends, we deliver faster releases with fewer bugs. Joining us means being at the forefront of innovation and using AI to eliminate inefficiencies and predict problems before they happen.

This role is not your standard QA position. If you’re looking for a traditional environment of manual test execution or repetitive automation scripts, this is not the place for you. Here, you’ll own the creation and evolution of AI-driven test automation frameworks, deploy predictive analytics to identify hidden risks, and help shape the future of software quality. You’ll be the architect of scalable solutions that adapt to the complexities of modern development, not a cog in a rigid, outdated process. If this sounds like the opportunity you’ve been waiting for, apply now to make your mark on the future of software development.

What you will be doing

  • Implement and maintain AI-based test automation frameworks to generate test cases, scripts, and data for comprehensive validation
  • Use GenAI tools to analyze testing outcomes, identify patterns in defects, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Simulate user scenarios, stress conditions, and edge cases to uncover potential issues before they impact users

Key responsibilities

  • Use AI and automation tools to ensure faster product releases and fewer product defects

Candidate requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a QA automation role
  • Proficiency in Selenium and one of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
