Cloud Architect   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you the DevOps maestro who turns chaotic infrastructure into a symphony of efficiency? Do you see a tangled web of legacy systems as an exhilarating puzzle to solve? If your idea of a good time involves architecting flawless AWS ecosystems and crafting automation that makes 99.9% uptime look easy, we need to talk.

We're not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We're seeking a Cloud Architect who can wrangle multiple tech stacks, consolidate databases with surgical precision, and build a unified AWS infrastructure that's as scalable as it is efficient. This isn't about keeping the lights on—it's about rewiring the entire grid.

You'll be the mastermind behind our infrastructure evolution, wielding the power to make decisions that matter. From AI-driven automation to zero-downtime migrations, you'll be the force that transforms our fragmented systems into a streamlined powerhouse. If you're ready to own the infrastructure that powers our success and automate yourself into bigger challenges, this is your stage.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and execute complex AWS migrations, turning legacy nightmares into cloud dreams
  • Design and implement bulletproof monitoring and automation systems that make incidents a rarity
  • Optimize everything: from system performance and database configurations to operational costs
  • Lead the charge in database consolidation, turning data silos into strategic assets
  • Leverage AI/ML to create next-level automation, making your own job continuously more interesting

What you will NOT be doing

  • Drowning in Jira tickets and status updates - we need doers, not reporters
  • Babysitting outdated systems - you're here to revolutionize, not maintain
  • Waiting for approvals - you'll have the authority to make critical decisions
  • Getting pigeonholed into a single tech stack - your expertise will span our entire infrastructure
  • Begging for resources - we understand that top-tier infrastructure is an investment, not an expense

Key responsibilities

Transform our diverse product portfolio into a cohesive, reliable, and scalable AWS ecosystem through strategic consolidation, robust automation, and relentless optimization.

Candidate requirements

  • Mastery of AWS infrastructure - this is non-negotiable
  • Coding prowess in Python or JavaScript for crafting sophisticated automation tools
  • Proven track record in managing and migrating complex, multi-engine databases (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
  • Expert-level experience in implementing comprehensive monitoring solutions
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
  • Advanced Linux systems administration skills
