What you will be doing

  • Elevate Guide Performance: Transform good into extraordinary through personalized coaching, actionable feedback, and performance analytics that directly enhance student achievement and engagement metrics.
  • Architect the Guide Playbook: Craft the definitive blueprint for educational excellence—detailing facilitation best practices, designing high-impact learning activities, and developing strategies for overcoming obstacles in the learning journey.
  • Ignite Student Potential: Lead a select cohort of learners, applying your specialized expertise in youth development to transform reluctant students into self-motivated achievers who exceed expectations.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Micromanaging Curriculum: Your mission transcends daily lesson planning. While Guides facilitate learning through adaptive technology platforms, you'll be orchestrating the bigger picture—training elite facilitators, designing enrichment opportunities that challenge conventional boundaries, and injecting contagious enthusiasm into every learning interaction.
  • Compromising Excellence: When our standard is 100%, 99% isn't close enough. You'll be the guardian of uncompromising quality, whether that means maintaining rigorous assessment standards or creating pathways for a middle schooler ready to tackle college-level challenges.
  • Delivering Passive Professional Development: Forget death-by-PowerPoint training sessions. Your coaching approach will model the energy, engagement, and facilitation mastery you expect from your team—creating dynamic learning experiences that Guides can't wait to replicate.

Key responsibilities

Cultivate and lead a world-class team of Guides who embody and execute the Sports Academy methodology with unparalleled excellence, consistently raising the bar for what's possible in educational outcomes.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (educational background less important than demonstrated leadership excellence)
  • Proven track record of elevating teams to elite performance levels through strategic mentorship and development
  • Evidence-based decision-making approach with demonstrable results from data analysis
  • Established history of meaningful engagement with youth (ages 5-18) that produced measurable growth and achievement outcomes
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Commitment to working on-site at our Austin, Texas campus
