Ready to inspire the champions of tomorrow both in sports and life?

Join Sports Academy in Austin, TX, where we integrate AI-enhanced education with immersive sports training for a unique learning journey. As a trailblazing private K-8 school driven by 2hr Learning, we teach crucial life skills like leadership and perseverance through sports. We seek dynamic leaders to transform young athletes' futures.

Our innovative approach uses cutting-edge adaptive technology and motivational tactics grounded in learning science. Here, excellence isn't just a goal; it's a lifestyle.

We're not just hiring educators; we're building a team of Guides—leaders who make learning vibrant. These mentors ensure students thrive, exceed expectations, and discover their potential.

Enter you—someone who's defied the odds, whether in breaking sports records or revitalizing projects. Your secret? Merging bold objectives with relentless effort, creativity, and tapping into your team’s core motivations.

Imagine channeling that drive into revolutionizing education and inspiring future leaders. Picture mentoring our Guides, sharing your expertise, passion, and leadership.

We're seeking a mentor to coach and develop our Guides, shaping how they engage with students. Consider applying if:

  • You're a natural leader who balances empathy with logic and firmness
  • You can push a team to reach ambitious goals
  • You'd excel as a Guide but prefer to coach Guides to high standards
  • You connect with, motivate, and nurture success in any student

Why choose Sports Academy?

  • Competitive pay—we believe in fair compensation for education professionals.
  • Comprehensive benefits and time off—we value our team.
  • Growth culture—receive coaching, training, and leadership opportunities.
  • Relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Ready to shape the future and lead educational transformation through sports? Apply now and join us at Sports Academy to inspire the champions of tomorrow. Let's redefine potential together!

What you will be doing

  • Guide your team of Alpha Guides by providing regular, actionable feedback to enhance their daily performance, ultimately boosting student engagement and success.
  • Develop Guide Playbooks that outline best practices for facilitation, offer instructions for creating more rewarding learning activities, and provide solutions for overcoming obstacles.
  • Inspire students by leading a small cohort, using your expertise in engaging and coaching to transform even the most hesitant learner into a dynamic achiever.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting lesson plans: Think bigger. While your Guides manage students' daily learning via adaptive apps, you’ll train Guides to be better facilitators, showing them how to create enrichment activities and bring more enthusiasm to their sessions.
  • Lowering standards: Uphold our 100% pass standard. If a Guide wants to pass a student with 99%, maintain that standard. Know how to support a 6th grader eager to take a college course.
  • Running dull training programs: No lecture-based professional development! You'll coach Guides by demonstrating enthusiasm, energy, and facilitation expertise.

Key responsibilities

Train and develop a team of Guides to execute the Sports Academy system with exceptional proficiency.

Candidate requirements

  • College degree in any field
  • Proven track record of developing and mentoring teams to achieve high performance
  • Data-driven decision-making skills
  • Experience engaging with children and teens (ages 5-18), supporting their growth and success

  • Commitment to working in-person in Austin, TX
