What you will be doing

  • Crafting and continuously enhancing an AI-powered learning ecosystem that eclipses traditional education, as evidenced by substantial student achievement gains
  • Engaging directly with students through virtual platforms to gather insights into their learning experiences, challenges, and successes, using these insights to refine the learning ecosystem
  • Deriving actionable insights from learning platform data to create impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational best practices
  • Fostering a culture of bold experimentation and data-driven decision-making to unlock significant growth in students' learning trajectories
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to transform academic insights and student feedback into seamless product enhancements

What you will NOT be doing

  • Merely wrapping traditional education in an AI facade. This is about reimagining learning from the ground up, not replicating classroom instruction on screens.
  • Analyzing data in isolation. Regular interaction with K-12 students is essential, valuing their feedback as critical input from our paying customers.

  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll have the freedom to experiment with innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and teaching.

Key responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-powered, teacher-less education to achieve outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Integrate data analytics with regular student engagement to continually optimize our learning ecosystem, as reflected in AP exam performance and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech
  • Experience applying AI technologies in educational or professional settings
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI systems for tasks like content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Strong understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational methods
  • Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
