Your role combines strategic data analysis with hands-on student interaction. You'll delve into learning analytics to uncover insights for exponential growth. This knowledge will guide you in identifying the motivational levers and teaching strategies to break achievement barriers across all campuses.

What you will be doing

  • Designing and continually improving an AI-driven learning ecosystem that surpasses traditional education, demonstrated by tangible student achievement data.
  • Interacting directly with students via virtual platforms to gather insights on their learning experiences, challenges, and triumphs, using this feedback to refine the learning ecosystem.
  • Analyzing learning platform data to extract actionable insights and develop impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational strategies.
  • Fostering a culture of experimentation and evidence-based decision-making to unlock significant growth in students' learning trajectories.
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to translate academic insights and student feedback into seamless product enhancements.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply wrapping traditional education in an AI package. This role is about reimagining learning from the ground up, not replicating classroom instruction on screens.
  • Analyzing data in isolation. Regular engagement with K-12 students is crucial, as their feedback is vital for our development.
  • Waiting for consensus to innovate. You'll lead a bold vision and unite others around data-driven outcomes.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll have the freedom to explore innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Viewing AI as a threat to education. Here, AI is an exciting tool to revolutionize learning.

Key responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-powered education without teachers to achieve outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Combine data analytics with regular student interaction to optimize our learning ecosystem, as evidenced by AP exam performance and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech.
  • Experience applying AI technologies in an educational or professional setting.
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI systems for content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning.
  • Strong understanding of learning science principles and data-driven educational methods.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
