What you will be doing

  • Designing and continually refining an AI-powered learning ecosystem that significantly surpasses traditional education, grounded in measurable student achievement improvements.
  • Interacting with students through virtual channels to grasp their learning experiences, challenges, and victories, utilizing these insights to perpetually enhance the learning ecosystem.
  • Analyzing platform data to extract actionable insights and develop impactful academic interventions using AI/ML, learning science, and motivational strategies.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation and data-driven decisions, using analytics to unlock substantial student growth.
  • Collaborating with platform engineering, data science, and design teams to transform academic insights and student feedback into seamless product advancements.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Simply wrapping traditional education in AI. This role is about reimagining learning from the ground up, not replicating classroom teaching on screens.
  • Isolating data analysis. Engaging with K-12 students regularly and valuing their feedback as vital customer input is expected.
  • Waiting for universal agreement to innovate. You'll advocate for a bold vision and rally others around data-driven success.
  • Adhering to conventional methods. You'll explore innovative approaches to motivation, assessment, and instruction.
  • Fearing AI's educational impact. You'll utilize AI as a transformative tool for learning, not a threat.

Key responsibilities

Lead innovation in AI-driven, teacher-less education to achieve outstanding student outcomes across multiple campuses. Integrate data analytics with ongoing student engagement to continually refine our learning ecosystem, as evidenced by AP exam success and MAP assessment growth.

Candidate requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Science, Learning Science, Psychology, Psychometrics, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • Leadership experience in education or EdTech.
  • Proficiency in applying AI technologies in educational or professional settings.
  • Experience in designing and implementing AI systems for tasks like content creation, data analysis, or adaptive learning.
  • Strong grasp of learning science principles and data-driven educational strategies.
  • Proven ability to articulate complex educational and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing intricate projects.
