We're on the hunt for a visionary who can lead our charge in reinventing English and Language Arts education through advanced data analysis, innovative AI applications, and profound subject knowledge. Your mission? To accelerate students' understanding of language concepts and literary analysis, from foundational phonics to sophisticated literary criticism.

At 2 Hour Learning, we're revolutionizing K-12 education with compelling results. Our AI-driven learning ecosystem is doubling the speed at which students learn, enabling them to excel in subjects at twice the pace of traditional schooling. We're not merely adjusting the existing system; we're reconstructing it from scratch, backed by data that proves its efficacy. Students using our platform consistently score 4s and 5s on five or more AP exams, show more than two years' growth on annual MAP assessments, and exceed their own expectations of achievement.

What you will be doing

  • Identifying trends in student reading and writing data with AI, turning these discoveries into innovative strategies that transform English language instruction and literary analysis.
  • Developing AI-driven tools tailored to individual learning preferences, making grammar intuitive, vocabulary building engaging, and literary analysis approachable for students of all levels.
  • Creating adaptive learning pathways that evolve in real-time, guiding students from phonics to complex text analysis, ensuring each learner advances at their ideal pace.
  • Working alongside a diverse team of educators, linguists, and AI specialists to extend the limits of language education, directly influencing the educational journey of countless students.
  • Converting classic and modern literature into interactive, AI-enhanced experiences that not only educate but also inspire a love for reading and writing among students.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing conventional English curriculums or performing administrative duties—this role focuses on innovation and strategic enhancement in teaching language arts within our accelerated framework.
  • Operating in isolation—you'll be an integral part of our dynamic team advancing the boundaries of AI in English education.
  • Concentrating solely on theory—every AI model you create will have a direct impact on students' comprehension and application of language skills in real-world scenarios, all within the 2 Hour Learning framework.

Key responsibilities

Lead measurable enhancements in student English and Language Arts results through AI-driven analysis and implementation, achieving a 2x acceleration in skill mastery across various domains (reading, writing, grammar, literature analysis) and grade levels, all within our innovative 2 Hour Learning model.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience teaching English/Language Arts or developing ELA curriculum, with a proven impact on learning outcomes
  • Basic proficiency in coding in any programming language
  • Experience in designing, implementing, or utilizing AI systems for tasks like content generation, data analysis, or adaptive learning
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data and extract actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining intricate English/Language Arts concepts to diverse stakeholders professionally
