Learning Strategist   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Imagine transforming the dusty pages of history textbooks into vibrant, interactive journeys or turning static map coordinates into dynamic explorations of our world's diverse landscapes. At 2 Hour Learning, we're not just teaching—we're revolutionizing how students connect with humanity's story and our planet's geography.

We're seeking a visionary Learning Strategist to harness the power of AI and reimagine social studies education from the ground up. If you're passionate about making the Silk Road as engaging as a modern adventure game or helping students visualize geographic concepts in ways that stick, this is your chance to make history—by changing how it's taught.

What you will be doing

  • Crafting AI-powered learning experiences that transport students from ancient Rome to the Industrial Revolution with unprecedented engagement and retention.
  • Mining educational data for insights that personalize each student's journey through time and space, adapting to their unique learning patterns.
  • Creating immersive digital content that brings historical figures to life and transforms abstract geographical concepts into tangible, explorable environments.
  • Synergizing with our team of forward-thinking educators and tech innovators to pioneer approaches that make social studies a favorite subject, not a forgettable one.
  • Distilling complex historical narratives and geographical relationships into captivating, AI-enhanced learning modules that resonate with today's students.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Drowning in paperwork or maintaining outdated curriculum frameworks—your focus will be on breakthrough innovation that transforms learning outcomes.
  • Working in isolation—you'll be an integral part of a collaborative ecosystem dedicated to educational excellence.
  • Following conventional teaching methodologies—we're here to disrupt and enhance how students experience and retain social studies knowledge.

Key responsibilities

Champion measurable learning acceleration by leveraging AI-driven approaches that enable students to grasp and retain historical and geographical concepts twice as quickly as traditional methods, creating a new benchmark for social studies education effectiveness.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or related social sciences field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3 years teaching or developing social studies curriculum with demonstrated improvement in student comprehension and retention.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities for interpreting educational data and implementing strategic learning optimizations.
  • Hands-on experience with educational AI applications, including adaptive learning platforms, AI-assisted content creation, or learning analytics.
  • Superior storytelling and communication abilities that can transform complex historical and geographical concepts into compelling, accessible learning narratives.
