Lead Game Developer $200,000USD/year ($100 USD/hour)

Description

Calling all elite Unity architects: Ready to revolutionize education through immersive gameplay? LearnWith.AI is seeking a visionary Lead Game Developer to spearhead our groundbreaking Magic Academy project. This isn't just game development—it's reshaping the future of learning.

As our Lead Game Developer, you'll command our Unity engineering team, architecting a world where knowledge comes alive. You'll pioneer AI integration, establish technical paradigms, and construct an educational realm where abstract concepts transform into tangible, interactive experiences.

This role demands more than technical prowess—it requires leadership that inspires, decision-making that defines, and vision that transforms. You're not just building a game; you're engineering the next evolution in educational technology.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and lead the development of Magic Academy, our flagship educational game, setting new standards in immersive learning.
  • Spearhead AI integration, leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance both the game and our development process.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and development patterns that elevate our entire engineering ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate educational goals into compelling gameplay mechanics.
  • Make critical technical decisions that shape the future of our platform and the broader edtech landscape.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Navigating bureaucratic labyrinths - we empower our leaders to make swift, impactful decisions.
  • Micromanaging visual design - while crucial, your focus is on engineering excellence and technological innovation.
  • Working in isolation - you'll be at the nexus of cross-functional collaboration, driving unity between product vision and technical execution.
  • Maintaining status quo - this role is about pushing boundaries, not preserving them.

Key responsibilities

Transform the educational landscape by delivering a high-performance, AI-integrated game that serves as the primary interface for LearnWith.AI's revolutionary learning platform, setting new standards in engagement, scalability, and educational efficacy.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of expertise in 3D Unity game development, with a portfolio showcasing technical innovation and performance optimization.
  • 3+ years leading game development teams, with demonstrable experience in architectural design and successful project delivery.
  • Proven track record of launching and scaling a successful game, with metrics demonstrating user engagement and technical robustness.
