Description

Ready to architect the future of education? Join us as a Senior Software Engineer where your technical prowess will shape how the next generation learns. We're revolutionizing education with a suite of AI-powered products that are changing the game:

  • Transform history lessons into viral-worthy content with TeachTap
  • Create personalized learning adventures through TeachTales
  • Power intelligent learning assistance with TimeBack
  • Drive measurable academic success via Athena

This isn't just another engineering role – it's your chance to be at the forefront of EdTech innovation. We're looking for a technical visionary who can turn ambitious ideas into scalable realities while maintaining the perfect balance between innovation and stability.

In our AI-first environment, you'll skip the mundane and focus on what truly matters: making strategic technical decisions that impact thousands of learners. We believe in thoughtful planning, meaningful autonomy, and the power of technology to transform education.

What you will be doing

Your impact will be felt across four key areas:

  • 🎯 Strategic Feature Crafting: Build tomorrow's learning tools with a focus on longevity and scale
  • 🤝 Product Vision Partnership: Shape requirements alongside our product team, ensuring technical excellence meets user needs
  • 🛡️ Platform Guardian: Keep our systems running smoothly while proactively optimizing performance
  • 🏗️ Architecture Leadership: Make the big technical calls that will define our products' future

What you will NOT be doing

Let's be clear about what this role isn't:

  • ❌ No tech tourism - we're not jumping from one trending framework to another
  • ❌ No busy work - you won't be maintaining internal tools or working on projects without real impact
  • ❌ No death by meetings - we value your time and engineering focus

Candidate requirements

Your toolkit should include:

  • 🔧 1+ year of full-stack development mastery
  • 🎯 2+ years of being the technical north star for a SaaS product
  • 💪 4+ years of hands-on SaaS product development experience
  • 🤖 Practical experience integrating generative AI into development workflows

Note: We care more about your real-world product experience than internal IT projects or outsourcing work.
