You'll own the complete product engineering lifecycle—from architectural design to implementation—with the autonomy to drive innovation while ensuring long-term stability and scalability.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and Implement Core Features - Design and build product capabilities with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and long-term impact, not just short-term delivery.
  • Drive Technical Requirements - Collaborate with product teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, leading discussions that align engineering solutions with strategic goals.
  • Ensure Product Excellence - Monitor system performance, implement optimizations, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
  • Make High-Stakes Technical Decisions - Select technologies, design patterns, and architectural approaches that will define user experiences and product scalability for years to come.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Chasing Technology Trends - You won't be jumping between short-lived projects or implementing solutions based on hype rather than substance.
  • Working on Low-Impact Systems - Your code won't disappear into internal IT systems or outsourced projects without real user impact or feedback.
  • Wasting Time on Administrative Overhead - We've eliminated excessive meetings and automated infrastructure management so you can focus on solving meaningful technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

Transform educational experiences through technical excellence by developing AI-powered learning products that deliver measurable academic outcomes while ensuring scalability and long-term product success.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated full-stack development expertise, with proven ability to implement both frontend and backend features independently.
  • At least 2 years as the primary technical decision-maker for a SaaS product, with direct responsibility for strategic architectural choices.
  • Minimum 4 years building commercial SaaS products with real-world user impact (internal IT projects or outsourced development work do not qualify).
  • Demonstrable experience integrating generative AI technologies into your development workflow and product solutions.
