Senior Full-Stack Engineer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Ready to architect the future of education technology? Join us as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer and become the driving force behind revolutionary AI-powered learning platforms. We're not just building apps – we're crafting immersive educational experiences that make learning come alive.

Picture yourself at the helm of groundbreaking products like:

  • TeachTap: Where history meets TikTok through the magic of AI
  • TeachTales: An enchanting world of adaptive storytelling
  • TimeBack: Your students' AI learning companion
  • Athena: The future of measurable learning outcomes

As a technical leader, you'll shape the architecture of these innovative platforms, making strategic decisions that impact thousands of learners. We believe in thoughtful design, leverage AI to eliminate busywork, and empower our engineers with the autonomy to make meaningful technical choices.

If you're passionate about combining cutting-edge technology with educational innovation, and ready to own the technical direction of products that matter, we want to talk to you.

What you will be doing

Your role will be centered around four key pillars:

  • Architect the Future: Design and implement scalable features that shape how students learn
  • Bridge Vision and Reality: Transform product requirements into elegant technical solutions through collaborative engineering
  • Guardian of Quality: Ensure product reliability through proactive monitoring and performance optimization
  • Technical Leadership: Make pivotal architectural decisions that define user experiences and product scalability

What you will NOT be doing

Let's be clear about what this role isn't:

  • No technology hopping or chasing fleeting trends - we're building for the long term
  • Zero time spent on internal tools or outsourced projects that don't directly impact learners
  • No death by meetings or wrestling with infrastructure headaches - we keep the focus on meaningful development

Candidate requirements

Your journey should include:

  • Full-stack mastery with 1+ years of hands-on development across the entire stack
  • 2+ years of technical leadership experience in a SaaS environment, proving your ability to drive strategic decisions
  • 4+ years building real-world SaaS products that users love
  • Practical experience integrating generative AI into your development workflow
