We're constructing knowledge systems that unlock LLM automation across complex, fragmented telecom infrastructure. This isn't about slapping a chatbot on legacy systems. It's about embedding semantic intelligence into the very DNA of network operations, provisioning, and customer experience.

This role demands more than AI enthusiasm or full-stack prowess. You'll be crafting proof-of-concepts that showcase the future of enterprise operations—automated, rapid, and scalable. Your code will bridge the gap between abstract AI potential and concrete telecom solutions, turning manual processes into self-optimizing, transparent, decision-making engines.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and deliver AI-driven proof-of-concepts that demonstrate Ontology AI's problem-solving capabilities in telecom environments. You'll teach AI systems to comprehend and navigate the intricate structure of telecommunications data, systems, and workflows.
  • Develop core platform modules that empower AI to map semantic relationships across telecom data, interpret complex instructions, and orchestrate actions across disparate systems.
  • Design and deploy sophisticated AI models capable of making intelligent, real-time decisions in critical telecom scenarios, including network operations, service provisioning, and customer experience management.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Engaging in traditional software development that lacks AI integration or innovative problem-solving.
  • Creating basic APIs or standard telecom software without leveraging cutting-edge AI capabilities.
  • Implementing AI as a superficial add-on without meaningful impact on telecom efficiency and operations.
  • Maintaining legacy systems or performing routine coding tasks that don't push the boundaries of AI in telecom.
  • Working on projects that don't directly contribute to revolutionizing telecom operations through AI innovation.

Key responsibilities

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in advanced software engineering or architecture roles
  • Mastery of Python, with a portfolio demonstrating complex, AI-driven projects
  • Extensive experience in DevOps automation, with expert-level Kubernetes and AWS skills
  • Proven track record in telecommunications system integration and automation of telco-specific workflows
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools like Cursor and LLM copilots for rapid, innovative prototyping
  • Comprehensive understanding of vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques, with practical application experience
