Are you tired of the traditional teaching grind? Alpha School is looking for trailblazers in early childhood education who are ready to step out of the conventional classroom. Alpha's offering a revolution in learning - and if you're a seasoned educator with an innovative spirit, we want you to be part of it.

At Alpha, we ditch the outdated teaching models. We believe education should be an individualized journey where the young minds lead, and you empower them as their Guide. Our unique 2-Hour Learning program uses adaptive learning apps for academics, condensing essential education into a focused two-hour morning session. Afternoons at Alpha are about life skills - through interactive workshops, you'll mentor K-2 students in activities that build essential life skills. What do those look like?

  • "Mad Scientist": A workshop where kids become hands-on experimenters, creating fizzing chemical reactions, building simple circuits, and watching physics in action.
  • "Can You Hang?": A workshop all about persistence, resilience, and grit - imagine kids mastering solving a Rubik's cube in record time or learning the art of juggling.

As a part of our extraordinary team of Guides, you'll inspire K-2 students to uncover their full potential and foster a lifelong passion for learning.

Why choose Alpha?

  • Competitive pay - we believe you shouldn't take a pay cut to work in education
  • Generous benefits and time off - we value our team and offer a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off
  • Growth and learning culture - we model the growth & learning we expect our students to embrace, so you'll receive coaching, training, and opportunities for leadership
  • Relocation assistance available for highly qualified candidates

If you're a dedicated individual with proven expertise in early education - and ready to shape the future of learning - we want to hear from you!

What you will be doing

  • Guiding K-2 students in their educational journey and helping them set and achieve their own goals
  • Leading interactive workshops that nurture critical life skills such as resilience, public speaking, and teamwork
  • Coaching students to tackle both academic and real-life challenges, promoting problem-solving and self-reliance

What you will NOT be doing

🚫 Directing academic instruction - you will focus on guiding students in their self-learning journey

🚫Having a one-size-fits-all approach - we promote adaptive coaching tailored to each child's unique needs and interests

🚫Following dull curricula - you will replace uninspiring lectures with engaging workshops
