Inside Sales Representative   $100,000 USD/year

Description

If you’re looking for a high-pressure sales role where the goal is to close as many deals as possible, this isn’t it. But if you want to have thoughtful, consultative conversations with families to help them determine whether Alpha’s revolutionary approach to education is right for them, you’re in the right place.

Alpha isn’t another legacy school with a fresh coat of paint. We’ve rebuilt education from the ground up—rethinking how kids learn, setting radically higher expectations, and proving that students can achieve more when given the right tools. We don’t just want more families; we want the right families. That’s where you come in.

Your job will be to engage prospective parents and students, quickly assess fit, and guide them through an informed decision-making process. This isn’t about persuasion—it’s about clarity. You’ll make first contact within 24 hours, ask the right questions to determine whether Alpha aligns with a family’s goals, and ensure they leave the conversation with a firm understanding of what we offer. If Alpha isn’t the right fit, you’ll say so. If objections arise, you’ll handle them with confidence, not pressure. And if families need more information, you’ll follow up with precision, not fluff.

You’ll be part of a team that values intelligence over volume, speed over bureaucracy, and alignment over enrollment quotas. If you’re great at pattern recognition, thrive in fast-moving environments, and can communicate complex ideas with clarity and conviction, we want to hear from you. If you’re looking for a role where success is measured by closing rates rather than quality engagement, you should probably keep scrolling.

What you will be doing

  • Qualifying Inbound Leads: Reviewing inquiries to determine fit based on Alpha’s success profile.
  • Consultative Outreach Calls: Engaging families in discussions about Alpha’s philosophy, addressing questions, and assessing alignment.
  • Follow-Up Responses: Responding to questions with clarity and support, without pressuring for enrollment.
  • Insight Reporting and FAQ Management: Regularly updating the FAQ, identifying patterns in family questions or objections, and sharing insights with marketing and admissions to improve messaging.

What you will NOT be doing

  • This role is not purely about converting every lead. Instead, success hinges on engaging the right families who are genuinely aligned with Alpha’s philosophy.
  • This role is not about aggressively pitching; it’s about clear, balanced communication.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 2 years of B2C or D2C consultative sales experience incorporating high-touch customer engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage, educate, and inspire parents.
  • Demonstrated ability to qualify leads and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Available to work remotely during US business hours (8am-8pm ET).
  • Fluent English speaker with a polished and professional communication style.
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM tools for tracking and managing leads.
