Why Did You Apply for a Job on Crossover?
I started out in finance but ended up getting promoted twice in a completely different field at an engineering company.
I had no background in it, but I was good at figuring things out.
Even then, I knew I didn’t want a job that defined me. I wanted work that gave me the freedom to live a full life.

After getting married, I started looking for international opportunities.
My local job in Pakistan just wasn’t going to cut it - especially once we relocated to Switzerland for my husband’s work.
That’s when I found Crossover and landed my role with Trilogy.
What Do You Do at Trilogy?
I’m an AI-First Strategic Sales Specialist, and I work across Trilogy’s portfolio of 80+ software products. I help renew customer contracts and make sure everything runs smoothly.
When I started, I didn’t have a background in this area. But I met the minimum requirements, dove in, and started learning. I researched the systems, understood how each product functioned, and trained myself.
It felt like a step down professionally - but a huge step up financially and personally. I’m earning 4x more than I did before.

How Did Your Background Shape Your Ambition?
I was raised in a culture where success was tied to stability, education, and working hard - especially for women.
We’re taught to study, get a good degree, and prove ourselves in traditional roles. I followed that path at first: I earned an MBA with a major in Banking and Finance, and I also studied Accounting.
Even before I completed my thesis, I had already started my first job.
That mindset of always pushing forward, always doing more - it’s part of how I was raised. But over time, I realized I didn’t just want to work hard.
I wanted to work smart. I wanted to grow, travel, and live a life that reflected my priorities - not someone else’s expectations.
How Has Remote Work Changed Your Life?
It changed everything.
We moved to Geneva, and within three days of arriving, I was already working again. Remote work gave me the flexibility to move, settle in, and keep earning.
We’ve traveled across Europe - Italy, Germany, Belgium, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands. I can finish work early and still make time for exploring.
And now I’m expecting. Starting a family while maintaining a fulfilling remote career is something I never imagined would be possible so soon.
But it is.
What Role Does AI Play in Your Work?
AI helps me work smarter - and do more of the work I actually enjoy.
In my role, I often need to dive deep into contracts, renewal data, and customer history.
AI allows me to quickly research, analyze trends, and spot opportunities I might have missed manually.
It cuts through the noise, giving me the insights I need to make confident, strategic decisions.
Instead of spending hours on repetitive tasks, I use AI to automate the basics, so I can focus on what really matters… adding value, thinking critically, and solving complex problems.
It’s become a daily tool for me.
And I don’t see it as a threat - it’s an accelerator.
I’m always experimenting with new prompts and techniques, constantly refining how I use AI to be faster, more creative, and more effective at my job.
The more I lean into AI, the more I realize it’s not about doing less - it’s about doing better.
What Keeps You Motivated?
I’m someone who needs something new to focus on.
Luckily, at Trilogy, our structures change every few months, so the work always evolves. It keeps me sharp.
More than anything, I want to feel proud of the work I’m doing and make a difference in the world. That’s the goal.
Not just to check boxes - but to really grow, contribute, and live a full life worth looking back on.
Thanks to Crossover one day after retirement, I’ll be able to look back and say, “Oh wow, this is wonderful.”
