This role is best suited for proactive, persistent, Type A personalities who are able to take ownership, build trust and gain influence horizontally and vertically across the company, and get the job done. What you will be doing
- Developing Project Plans - Clearly defining all components necessary to successfully deliver a project on time
- Executing Projects - Working closely with cross-functional teams and making sure all parties involved adhere to the plan, resolving any blockers along the way
- Writing Updates - Regularly communicating process and schedule updates with stakeholders
What you will NOT be doing
- Product management (e.g. analyzing markets, determining product features, pricing)
- Doing a team’s work for them (a specialized/technical background is not required for the role)
- Accepting projects without fully understanding the use case or business value
Key responsibilities
- Deliver strategic initiatives on time and with all requirements met
Candidate requirements
- Experience as a Project Manager or Program Manager at a software company OR as a tech entrepreneur
- Near native verbal and written communication skills in both English and German
